Now exclusively at Lowry's Books - internationally-recognized author and artist David Small is selling signed, numbered, limited edition giclee prints. These prints will be available for $495.00 each (framing is available for an additional fee). Only 75-100 prints will be made of each illustration being printed. There will also be Collector's Sets that will have several prints in a special presentation case. Giclee (pronounced zhee-klay) prints are of such a high quality that they are usually found in museums or photo galleries. They are produced by a burst of liquid on a canvas, fine art paper, or a photo based paper. Most digital prints are produced in numbers anywhere between 500-1000, but giclee prints usually don't number higher than a 100. It can take up to an hour just to make one 30x30 print, the slower process being more accurate and more graphically beautiful.
